Do you have expertise or knowledge about environmental stewardship, life skills, interpersonal skills, Hawaiian culture, water safety, ocean science or an interesting hobby that coulld build teen reslience, knowledge or life skills? We are looking for volunteers to teach at risk teens important life lessons in these areas as part of our Surfrider Spirit Sessions curriculum. 

 

You'll come to the beach and share on a desired topic with our youth to make an impact and get them excited about learning in a 'talk story' style information session.

 

Time commitment:

This opportunity is available on any of the following dates

March 15th, March 22nd, March 29th, April 5th, April 12th, April 19th, April 26th, May 3rd.

Volunteers can choose one date they would like to come and speak. It is not necessary to attend all 8 dates. Within each date, volunteers may choose to speak at one or both sessions - morning session (10:30am - 11:30am) & afternoon session (2:30pm - 3:30pm).  Exact times are flexible!

 

Volunteers must be 18+
