Description

Emergency Evacuation Shelter Worker: Willing to complete online training (approx. 3.5 hours total) Must be willing to work in person in a disaster shelter before, during and/or after a disaster event At least 18 years of age Proficient in English Available locally for 5 days to fill various shelter shifts when shelters are opened Must have access to internet connectivity to take training and sign up for shifts For Supervisor Roles: All the above as well as 2 years supervisory experience with 5 or more workers For Health/Mental Health Service Workers: Experience as a charge nurse, EMS team lead or physician Current, Active License

No waiver form required

Additional Requirements

This is a deployable position. Deployment is not required, but if you're interested in going to other parts of our region, or anywhere in the US to help with disaster response, we require you to be able to go for 14 days. Must have a drivers license and be willing to live in adverse conditions.
